Even if we only have one office in a market, through our National Recruiting Center you have access to a wide pool of candidates—on a local, regional and national basis.
Screening/Skills Evaluation
It takes a lot to become an SOS Employment Group associate. We meticulously interview, screen and test every candidate because these individuals represent the quality of our service.
Interviewing: Our screening process begins with a thorough interview to give us insight into the candidate's communication abilities, work history and skill strengths.
Skills Testing: SOS uses Kenexa® Prove It!® to test and validate basic clerical, software knowledge, call center, financial, healthcare, industrial and technical job classifications.
Previous Work History References: We offer employment verification of an associate's past work history.*
Background Checks: We will order court records, perform credit checks, verify driving records, complete professional and personal reference checks and verify credentials.**
Drug Screening: Our most common drug screen is a 5-panel urine screen, but we can set up other panel screens—including hair and saliva analysis. We offer both DOT and non-DOT testing and most SOS branches are National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA)-approved for in-house collection/screening.*
Confidentiality: To protect our clients' confidential information, as well as the private information of their clientele, all associates are bound by a confidentiality clause contained in our new hire paperwork.
