Job-for-Job Vision
For every job placement SOS Employment Group makes, Job-for-Job will donate job search training software to nonprofits assisting those in need.
Strengthening our nation, one community at a time.
SOS has partnered with NextJob to create Job-for-Job, a charitable giving program that donates online job search training software to nonprofit partners. This is a way to use our expertise to give back to the communities in which we live, work and do business. Job-for-Job's goal for 2012 is to match at least the first 10,000 placements we make.
Nonprofit Partners
Job-for-Job partners are community organizations and nonprofits that work with people from all walks of life. Participants are selected based on a number of criteria, the most important being a focus on helping others in their pursuit of employment. An organization must also demonstrate the ability to leverage the software to enhance the job coaching efforts of volunteers and staff, ultimately empowering clients to become self-sufficient through work.
To date, Job-for-Job has assisted:
- Midwest Marines Foundation: serving wounded marines in the St. Louis area
- Cincinnati Works: serving men and women facing long term unemployment
- Valley Services: helping disabled and disadvantaged men and women in Salt Lake City, Utah
